I stumbled across your podcasts and fell in love with them

Nick's StudioGuys, Love the podcasts. I just graduated from The Ohio State University and while I was there studied abroad in Dresden, Germany. When I came back I ditched the formal education and persued my proficiency in German through reading and Deutsche Welle. Anyways I stumbled across your podcasts and fell in love with them, listening to them on my weekley trip to Cleveland. I have been dying to get back to Germany since my schooling and hearing you guys having so much fun makes the drive fly by.

I just started to translate my songs into German to hopefully start a following for my music abroad and I would really like you to check out my song "Mit einem Feuer" (my first attempt). A friend I met in Dresden, who now lives in Bonn, helped with the translation. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks again!

Nick

I truly enjoy your program as my daily hearing exercise and find every single lesson soooo helpful.

viele Grüße aus NYC,

Harue

after listening and reading carefully, the exercises were a breeze!

Hi Tyler! Thanks so much for creating Pukka! I've been looking for quite a while for sites that I can learn German from and just happened to stumble across Pukka last night. And now I know all about reden and can't wait to catch up with the other podcasts and exercises! I love how you and Lisa intersperse English with German and include the complete transcripts of your casts. I was afraid it might be a bit beyond my level at first, but after listening and reading carefully, the exercises were a breeze!

I'm actually going to be moving to Munich in September so need to learn as much Deutsch as I can, as quickly as I can. I love that you guys focus on language and phrases that Germans actually use. So much of what I've found so far has the same boring, utilitarian, "Wo ist die Bahnhof?" feel.

Macht's gut,

Greg

My only complaint is that I waited so long to become a Pro member!

Even if you enjoy and learn from the free Pukka German podcasts, there is something about putting your money on the line that really helps. Silly as it may seem, my need to 'get the most from my money' is a big motivator to be sure to work through the exercises and further my desire to improve my German.

Thanks again for a great site. It has steadily improved since I first stopped by some months ago. The only thing that hasn't changed is the lovely sound of Lisa's voice. (Of course you have obviously been thoroughly charmed by it yourself, so pardon those of us who can only listen from afar.)

All joking aside, I really enjoy the both of you and your interactive style. My only complaint is that I waited so long to become a Pro member here at Pukka German!

All the best,

Paul Harker

Ich habe die Podcasts sehr hilfreich gefunden

Vielen Dank, Tyler.

Keep up the good work! (Wie sagt man denn DAS auf deutsch?)

Bis bald,

Andy

Macht weiter so!

Danke und Tschüß

Christian
