PG29 Transcript – Hangover
Tyler:
Hello folks and welcome back! Today’s podcast
is all about the day after the night before.
You guessed it! Today we are going to talk
about being hungover. It’s the perfect topic
for this week because after a massive party in
France on Friday night, on Saturday I felt
like I’d been hit by a ten tonne truck and my
mouth felt like the inside of a badgers arse.
It wasn’t pretty at all and to be honest I’m
still feeling rough as. That’ll teach us not
to get so hammered.
Tyler: Thankfully we didn’t have anything planned on Saturday because the day was a complete write off. At least we could stay in and try to sleep it off. When we did eventually rise from the dead, Lisa started talking about all sorts of things that had happened at the party that I couldn’t even remember anymore. I must have blacked out.
Tyler: I don’t get it. Why do you have to have such a thick head from drinking. It ruins all the fun. Although I guess it could have been worse. At least we didn’t have to throw up.
Tyler: Also typical for a hangover day is that by the evening I have a mean appetite and can literally eat for two.
Tyler: I’m seriously planning to drink less at Cathy’s party next week. There is no ways I want to be nursing a thick skull again.
Lisa: Ah! Meine Birne braucht jetzt definitiv erst mal 'ne Pause.

I especially love
the English German match up exercises ... my
German is getting better by
day!
Hello
Tyler, Hallo Lisa! I want to thank you for
your awesome german lessons! Pukka German
ROCKS!! Since I came across your site,
I am so motivated to learn.
The dialogues are really fun, Lisa's pronouciate is beautiful and perfect speed to follow, I am also learning more English - great concept! I feel like I can actually use what I learn and my husband has a great laugh when I use what I just learn from your site.
I love doing the quizzes as well. I especially love the English German match up exercises. Also what I find the most useful for me, as I have problem building sentences, are the scrambled German phrases. I like that I can have a few tries, and when I get it right the first time, I feel SOOOO GREAT! The quizzes are much more fun than writing on my german workbook and checking it all the time in the back.
Your website is so far the only thing that could keep my attention and keep me wanting to learn more. I feel like my German is getting better by the day! Keep up the great work! And I am really looking forward to the next podcasts. Thanks a million! Keep it PUKKA!!

Get Saucy This Halloween
I was really surprised to discover these great Oktoberfest dirndl packs selling at Amazon - and so cheap too. Apart from the raunchy dirndls I even noticed they have a Lederhosen costume in stock. And I thought Amazon was about books. Anyway, I figured for those of you couldn't make it to the Oktoberfest this year, perhaps these will make fun Halloween costumes! I'm especially keen on the pink and green number - I'll have to try and get Lisa into one of those :)
