PG27 Transcript – Parent concerns
English 1: I'm really worried about my teenage son. He used to be such a sweet boy, polite and well-mannered. Unfortunately that's all gone out the window now and I really don't know what to do with him. He has totally lost interest in his education and doesn't take his school work seriously at all, which shows in his grades. He's is all mixed up, questions everything and seems determined to learn the hard way.
English 2: My friends advise me that I shouldn't worry about him as much as I do. They say that many teenagers go through an awkward adolescent stage. But I do worry and I can't help feeling that if I don't do something, he may go totally off the rails.
English 3: I'm also concerned about the people he's been hanging out with. If you ask me, most in his group of friends are ill-mannered, indifferent and lacking in direction. That's not to mention their language which is horrendous! They're always misbehaving and swearing at each other. Perhaps it's a result of peer pressure or they're just insecure.
English 4: Also since he's started spending time with this girlfriend of his, he has become obsessed with appearances and spends all his pocket and birthday money on designer clothes and the latest trainers. It's ridiculous! What is more, he's clearly embarrassed to be around his father and I. I don't think we're cool enough for him anymore.
English 5: I wish he would take more responsibility and get his act together but instead he just makes fun of us and says that we don't understand him. He reckons we need to chill out and live for the day like he does.

I especially love
the English German match up exercises ... my
German is getting better by
day!
Hello
Tyler, Hallo Lisa! I want to thank you for
your awesome german lessons! Pukka German
ROCKS!! Since I came across your site,
I am so motivated to learn.
The dialogues are really fun, Lisa's pronouciate is beautiful and perfect speed to follow, I am also learning more English - great concept! I feel like I can actually use what I learn and my husband has a great laugh when I use what I just learn from your site.
I love doing the quizzes as well. I especially love the English German match up exercises. Also what I find the most useful for me, as I have problem building sentences, are the scrambled German phrases. I like that I can have a few tries, and when I get it right the first time, I feel SOOOO GREAT! The quizzes are much more fun than writing on my german workbook and checking it all the time in the back.
Your website is so far the only thing that could keep my attention and keep me wanting to learn more. I feel like my German is getting better by the day! Keep up the great work! And I am really looking forward to the next podcasts. Thanks a million! Keep it PUKKA!!

(Was solln die Nachbarn sagen?)
(Was solln die Nachbarn sagen?)
(Was solln die Nachbarn sagen?)
Elektrische Gitarren und immer diese Texte
Das will doch keiner hören
(Was solln die Nachbarn sagen?)
(Was soll das Finanzamt sagen?)
(Was solln die Nachbarn sagen?)
Denk an deine Zukunft, denk an deine Eltern
Willst du dass wir sterben?
