PG5 Transcript – Head over heels - Part 1

Andrea und Simone sitzen gerade in einem Kaffee und quatschen über die Liebe und Beziehungen. Andrea hat sich in der letzten Woche Hals über Kopf verliebt. Simone ist im Moment solo. Auch sie ist sehr in einen Typen verknallt. Schon seit Monaten
himmelt sie ihn an.

Andrea and Simone are sitting in a Café and chatting about love and relationships. Since last week, Andrea has been head over heels about someone. Simone is currently single. She is also infatuated with a guy she has adored for months.

Andrea (D): Ich fühle mich wie im siebten Himmel. Ich bin total in Thomas verschossen. Ich kann nur noch an ihn denken.

Andrea (E): I feel like I’m on cloud nine. I am nuts about Thomas. I can’t get him out of my mind.

Simone (D): Ja, das muss ein schönes Gefühl sein. Thomas liebt Dich genauso abgöttisch wie Du ihn. Wenn Jan mich nur auch so vergöttern würde....

Simone (E): Yeah, that must be an amazing feeling. Thomas also loves you like crazy. If only Jan would idolise me in the same way.

Andrea (D): Du hängst wirklich an diesem Jan. Aber du darfst nicht vergessen, dass er schon vergeben ist. Wie findest du denn Patrick? Er ist noch zu haben und sieht zum Anbeißen gut aus!

Andrea (E): You really cling to this guy Jan but you shouldn’t forget that he’s a taken man. What do you think about Patrick? He is still available and he looks good enough to eat!

Simone (D): Hmm.... Nein, Patrick fehlt einfach das gewisse Etwas! Er reizt mich überhaupt nicht.

Simone (E): Hmm... No, Patrick just doesn’t have that “je ne sais quoi!” I’m not attracted to him at all.

PG5 Transcript – Head over heels - Part 2

Andrea (D): He, mal etwas anderes. Hast du schon gehört, dass Christine einen neuen Macker hat? Sie hat ihn sich letzte Woche auf der Geburtstagsparty angelacht! Sie hat erzählt, dass seine Anmache anfänglich ganz schön blöd war. Er war wohl anfänglich ein richtiger Schleimbeutel. Außerdem hatte sie gesehen, wie er davor auch anderen Mädchen hinterher gegafft hat. Sie dachte: „Mensch, der Typ ist wirklich zum Abgewöhnen!“.

Andrea (E): Hey, by the way, have you heard that Christine has a new flame? She picked him up at a birthday party last week. She told me that his come on was really weak. At first he was a real sleazeball. On top of that she had seen him gaping at other girls. She thought: „Man, this guy is a real turnoff“.

Simone (D): Und wie kam es dann dazu, dass sie jetzt doch etwas miteinander haben?

Simone (E): How did it happen that they are getting it on?

Andrea (D): Irgendwie hat sich die Geschichte im Laufe des Abends doch noch zum Positiven entwickelt. Ich habe ihn auf jeden Fall am Donnerstag kennen gelernt und er ist wirklich in Ordnung. Ehrlich gesagt ist er mehr als nur in Ordnung. Er ist ein ganz schön toller Hecht! Am Liebsten würde ich ihn ihr ausspannen!

Andrea (E): Strangely enough the whole thing turned out well during the course of the evening. In any case, I met him on Thursday and he really is alright. To be honest, he is more than alright. He is a devil of a man! I’d really like to pinch him from her.
