Luck sure does come and go. One moment everything seems to be going your way and the next thing you feel like you've drawn the shortest straw and no matter how hard you try, you don't seem to be able to break your unlucky streak. Oh well, such is life. You win some and you lose some. Wherever your luck is now, at least after today's German lesson you will know all the popular German words, phrases and idioms to talk about it. That's pretty lucky isn't it?

Today we continue where we left off last time with more useful German words and phrases related to moving home. A few of today's gems are the German equivalent for "out in the sticks" or "the middle of nowhere", the German translation of "to be hell bent" as well as the German version of "concrete jungle" (funny enough the German phrase doesn't refer to a jungle at all, but a desert!)
Moving is no walk in the park.
